Amal Alamuddin was born Beirut. Her birthplace was Beirut, Lebanon. Arabic name'ml amal which translates to "hope". It was just two years old when her family moved in Buckinghamshire from Lebanon in the Lebanese Civil War. 10] Her father Ramzi Alamuddin, a Lebanese Druze who was from the Alam al-Din Dynasty village of Baakline in the Chouf district,[11and received an MBA qualification at the American University of Beirut. He returned in 1991 [12] home to Lebanon after the Civil War came to an end. Her mother, Baria (nee Miknass), was born to a family of Sunni Muslims in Tripoli in Northern Lebanon,[14][11] and a Palestinian-Jordanian[15] mother. She was a foreign editor for al-Hayat the Saudi-owned newspaper. [16] She is a co-founder of the public relations company International Communication Experts, which is part of a larger company that specialises in booking celebrity guests, publicity photography, and the promotion of events. Amal was the smallest of her three kids: one half-sister (Tala) along with two brothers from her father's prior marriage. Amal went to Dr Challoner's High School located in Little Chalfont Buckinghamshire before going to university. Then she attended St Hugh's College, Oxford and was awarded an exhibition grant and the Shrigley Award. She was awarded the degree of BA degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Judiciary (BA), in 2000. In the following year, she enrolled in the New York University School of Law to study for an Master of Laws (LL.M) degree. The Jack J.
